The first meeting of the OASIS DCML Adoption TC will take place by teleconference on Wednesday, 27 April, 2005, at 10:30 am Central US time, on a conference line that will be posted to the TC general e-mail list.
The OASIS Data Center Markup Language TC (DCML) is a collaborative effort to develop the industry's first vendor-neutral data center specification. The primary goal of DCML is to describe all elements of the data center and how to build them, including descriptions of sequential procedures, required versions, patches and more. The purpose of the OASIS DCML Adoption TC is to promote the adoption of OASIS DCML standards in the data center to help organizations realize the promise of utility computing.
