The purpose of this TC was to develop an XML compliant syntax for representing legal transcript documents either as stand-alone structured content, or as part of other legal records.

Document Model: The transcript document model gives the group a common starting point from which to discuss the structure of transcripts. It uses XML-like syntax to describe a general "architecture" for transcripts. For users less familiar with the structure of transcript documents, or of XML, this is a good starting point.
