UBL LCSC Minutes

Tuesday - 10 September 2002

Attendees: Tim McGrath, Lisa Seaburg, Bill Meadows, Joe Chiusano, Debbie Quezadaz - Terry Schager dropped off call, Sally Chan and Michael Grimley joined at 8:30.

2. Acceptance of previous minutes

• Since there was not a quorum, the minutes could not be accepted

3. Release Op65 package

• Status – It has been reported that there is a syntax error in the Order Response – There are two elements with response Id. This issue has been fixed.
• Sample XML and Stylesheets - There was a request from a few weeks ago to develop sample documents. Tim will send a sample XML document and stylesheet to Lisa for the web. It will be part of a supplementary package.
• Lisa commented on the status of review – she's received comments from Bill Burchum. She will send a ntoe out to the liaison group to have comments in by the 25th. It will be discussed at the f2f. Tim expressed concern that there won't be a large enough group at the ftf. If there is no quorum, a con-call during the conference will be organized.

4. Future Work Plan – Will go till the end of the year.

• Trying to coordinate deliverables from UBL Naming and Design rules. 1.0 of UBL is due on November 18th. Tim encouraged everyone to look at the work plan and made mention that October 4 – November 18 will be an intensive time. Lisa mentioned that there are groups that are working on new docs. Frank is doing the timeseries doc and Mike Adcock is doing invoice. She mentioned that Perl scripts are available.
• Tim mentioned that it is important that groups share these docs and said that it will be difficult until there is a unified approach. Mentioned that there is a spreadsheet and that instructions should be given on how to fill it out. Frank and Mike will give a show and tell.

5. Face-to-Face – Agenda Items

• Lisa is waiting for agenda stuff from Mike. Mentioned that Mike is in Geneva this week but that as soon as she receives it she will put it into the work plan and distribute.
• There should be teleconference facilities during face-to-face because there might be issued to be voted upon during the call.
• Tuesday's 8a.m. call will be changed for the week of October 1 due to the opening plenary.
