This page gives you quick access to all open ballots and recent closed ballots that have been shared with the organization general membership. From here, you can access ballot details, go to the home page for the ballot group sponsor and, if you are eligible, cast your vote for a ballot. Links to recently closed ballot details and the complete closed ballots archive are also available. Open ballots are listed chronologically by close date and then alphabetically by name, so the next ballot to close is at the top of the list. Closed ballots are listed chronologically by most recent close date and then alphabetically by name, so the most recently closed ballot is at the top of the list.
To view all public ballots:
- From All Groups, click Ballots above the Available Groups heading. This takes you to the Ballots page for the organization.
- Select to view an open ballot by clicking the Vote Status Icon next to the ballot name or the ballot name itself. To view closed ballots, scroll down to the Recent Closed Ballots section and select a ballot by clicking on the Vote Status Icon or the ballot name. To view a complete list of closed ballots, click Closed Ballots Archive.
Sections
Open Ballots by Group - The following information is provided for each ballot:
- Vote Status Icon - Two possible:
(indicates either you are ineligible to vote for the ballot, or you are eligible but have not yet voted for the ballot) and 
(indicates you have voted for the ballot and may re-vote until the ballot close date, if the ballot has been configured to allow revoting). Links to the Ballot Details page, where you can cast your vote (if you are eligible). - Ballot name - Name of the ballot, provided by the ballot author. Links to the Ballot Details page, where you can cast your vote (if you are eligible).
- Group - Name of the group sponsoring the ballot or "General Membership" for ballots open to all groups. Links to that sponsor's group home page.
- Close Date - Date on which the ballot closes. Votes cannot be cast after this date.
- Status - Four possible, depending on your voting eligibility and whether a ballot has been configured to allow revoting: Ineligible, Not yet open, Vote, and Change Vote. The text in this column corresponds to the Vote Status Icon preceding the ballot name. Vote and Change Vote link to the Ballot Details page where you can vote.
Tip: To quickly find out a ballot's close date, ballot text, and amendment date and text (if any), place your cursor over the Vote Status Icon or the ballot name and read the rollover text. 
Recent Closed Ballots - The following information is provided for each ballot:
- Closed Ballots Archive - Links to the Ballots Archive, which contains a complete list of closed ballots.
- Vote Status Icon - One possible:
(indicates the ballot is closed, and votes can no longer be cast for this ballot). Links to the Ballot Details page, which contains the voting summary. - Ballot name - Name of the ballot, provided by the ballot author. Links to the Ballot Details page, which contains the voting summary.
- Group - Name of the group sponsoring the ballot or "General Membership" for ballots open to all groups. Links to that sponsor's group home page.
- Close Date - Date on which the ballot closed.
- Status - One possible: Closed. No votes were cast after this date.
