Table of Contents
This guide to ezmlm-make arguments is designed for quick reference only. It cannot provide definitive information on every mailing list because list behavior is customizable. This caveat especially applies to mailing lists with custom ezmlmrc files. For more information on ezmlm software and the ezmlm-make arguments discussed here, see the ezmlm-make page on the ezmlm-idx website. Note that the arguments presented here may lack the minus sign (-) prefix that is used in the ezmlm help. For example, the argument 'a' in the Kavi Mailing List Manager help and user interface corresponds to '-a' in the official ezmlm-idx help.

Much of the information in this table is specific to the Kavi® environment.
It is not always possible to determine the behavior of a list based on the setting of an individual argument because of argument interactions and the application of rules defined in ezmlm-rc. Explanation of these subtleties is outside the scope of this documentation.
Some arguments are omitted from this list because they are not exposed through Kavi interfaces.
Settings referencing archives generally apply only to the raw mailing list message archives managed by ezmlm-idx. The one exception is instant archiving, which does apply to Web-viewable MHonArc archives.

Each argument corresponds to a letter of the alphabet, with the lowercase version representing the ezmlm default setting and the uppercase representing the non-default setting. For instance, the arguments -a and -A represent the ezmlm default and non-default settings for the archiving feature, with the default '-a' indicating that ezmlm-idx archiving is enabled.
