Use the Generate Login Keys tool to replace existing login keys with new keys, or retain existing keys but extend their expiration dates. Keys are created for login links when new user welcome email is generated and when users request password help.

This tool is often used to extend expiration dates when new user welcome email was generated but not sent immediately. The administrator can reset the expiration dates of the login keys before sending the welcome email, even if the original expiration date of the keys has passed.

If you opt to overwrite existing keys, the existing keys will become invalid.
