Chapter 153. Change Scheduled Email Status

Overview

Use the Change Scheduled Email Status tool to activate or deactivate a email. Active scheduled emails are sent as scheduled, whereas inactive scheduled emails are not sent. To access this tool, click the 'Activate' or 'Deactivate' link at the top of the Manage Email Schedule tool.

How to Change Scheduled Email Status

Select the email whose status you wish to change by clicking the 'Activate' or 'Deactivate' link at the top of the Manage Email Schedule tool.

Change Status

Information about the email you selected is displayed for you to review. If you are sure you want to change the email status, click Change Status.

Done

The status of this scheduled email has been changed. If you activated a scheduled email, automated notification begins going out soon as it is triggered (i.e., the next time the triggering event occurs). A deactivated email is effectively disabled, but the email template remains active and available through template blast tools.
