Note

Usernames must be between 6 and 25 characters long and cannot contain special characters (i.e., #, @, ?, |, /).

Required.

Notification

Send User Login Link

Select 'Yes' if you would like to send the user an email notification of the change, including a login link.

Note

This email notification is based on the 'Password Changed Email' email template. To review and customize this email message, use the Manage Email Templates tool.

Important

It is generally recommended that the 'Yes' option be selected so that the user will be automatically informed of the change. If 'No' is selected, the administrator will need to take further action to communicate information about the new username and password to the user.

Activity Note

Add an Activity Note to this user's record for future reference. Once created, these notes cannot be edited, so they become a part of the User Activity History, which is only viewable through Admin Area Tools and Report Area Tools.

Done

You've just changed this user's username or password (or both)! Click Change Another if you have another user whose username or password you would like to change.
